What does your credit score mean in relation to your job? I think it is unfair that employers are allowed to view your credit score when applying for jobs. Just because someone has a 750 credit score does not mean they will be a better employee than someone with a 650 credit score.

Unfortunately, many employers think that if you are "irresponsible" with your personal finances that you may also be an irresponsible employee.

Some states are now making it illegal for employers to check your credit score as part of the hiring process.
