What is the financial sector doing to help people who are losing their homes even though they were all bailed out by the tax payers?

Homeowners are for the most part out of luck. Only a very small percentage of home owners have been helped through special refinancing.

Most people losing their houses though really should never taken out their mortgages in the first place. It is hard to feel sorry for people who signed for mortgages that they knew deep down they really could not afford.
