Teach Kids Investing

If I have one regret about my own investing experience, it is that I did not learn about investing much sooner in life. I think everyone should at least start teaching their children basic investing techniques before they leave high school.

While most minors under 18 can not really participate in many investing methods there is the Uniform Gift to Minors Act; which basically allows a minor to own securities with an adult being held accountable until they turn 18. However, I am not going to discuss this here because there are negative benefits of a child earning to much money at a young age if they plan on going to college and applying for financial aid.

A better alternative would be a virtual investing game.
