So why are stocks a good investment idea?

Many experts will tell you that stock return rates simply outperform any other investments over the long term. Most experts say the average return investing in stocks is about 11%. They say that stocks over the past 77 years have easily beat typical saving accounts, money market accounts, and even bonds over that same period.

While stocks can be more risky in the short-term compared to other investment streams in the long-term they are considered to be a very wise investment.

So it really comes down to each individuals risk/reward tolerance. Investing in stocks is harder to learn and master compared to simply putting your money into a safe savings account. However, when it is all said and done learning how to trade stocks will in the long run pay off to a much higher degree if it is done properly with discipline.
