Problems With Technical AnalysisThere are some problems with technical analysis. If technical indicators were right 100 percent of the time, then investing would be a snap for everyone. However, the reality is that technical indicators do not work all of the time. The use of technical indicators is more for the short-term investor looking for quick swings in the market. Long-term investors will tend to rely more on fundamental analysis. Speaking from my own experience technical indicators can do more harm than good if you are not careful. New investors will tend to look at so many different indicators that they simply become confused. This is because of the many false indications many indicators will give. So you may want to limit how many technical indicators you decide to use. |
