Investing Terms "W-Z"A B C D E F G H I J-L M N O P Q-R S T U V W-Z Wall Street - the major financial center of the U.S. Wilshire Indexes - widely followed performance indexes measuring performance of all U.S.-headquartered equity securities, created by Wilshire Associates, Inc. Yield - the income from a fixed-income security as a percentage of its market price. Z-Bond - a bond on which interest accrues but is not currently paid to the investor. Instead it is added to the principal balance of the Z-bond and becoming payable upon satisfaction of all prior bond classes. Zero-Coupon Bond - a bond that is issued at a deep discount from its value at maturity and pays no interest during the life of the bond.
