Junk Bond - speculative credit rating of BB or lower.

Large-Cap - stocks of companies with a market capitalization of five billion dollars or more.

Limit Order - an order to buy or sell a specified amount of a security at a specific price.

Lipper Average - average level of performance for all mutual funds as reported by Lipper Analytical Services.

Load Fund - a mutual fund that carries transaction charges.

Long-Term Investment - investments one year or longer.

Long-Term Gain - a profit on the sale of an asset held longer than 12 months.

Low Price - day's lowest price of a security.
