Gap - an equities opening price that is substantially higher or lower than the previous day's closing price.

Global Fund - a mutual fund that can invest in companies located anywhere in the world.

Going Long - purchase of a security for investment or speculation that the price will rise resulting in a profit once the security is sold.

Going Short – selling a stock that an investor does not own by borrowing shares from a broker.

Good 'Til Cancelled Order (GTC) - to buy or sell a security at a specific price that lasts until the order is completed or cancelled.

Growth Fund - a mutual fund that invests primarily in growth stocks.

Growth and Income Fund - mutual fund investments in the common stock of growing companies that have a history of paying dividends.

Growth Stock - stock of a corporation that has had faster than average gains in earnings.
