Accumulation - it is the action of a large investor buying up many shares of a public company over an extended period of time.

After-Hours Trading - refers to stock trading outside the traditional trading hours of the major exchanges.

Aggressive Growth Mutual Fund - A mutual fund designed for maximum capital appreciation that places its money in companies with high growth rates.

American Stock Exchange (AMEX) - the third largest stock exchange in the U.S.

Analyst – a financial professional who has expertise in evaluating investments and puts together buy, sell, and hold recommendations on securities.

Annual Report - a document reporting to stockholders on management and operations and containing fiscal information, published yearly by a publicly held corporation as required by federal law.

Annual Meeting - a meeting of shareholders that the law requires a corporation to hold each year for the election of directors and the transaction of other business.

Ask Price - price at which a security or commodity is offered for sale on an exchange.
