It is good to use caution when investing in stocks, but fear will drive you nuts. If you are so afraid of losing money in the stock market, you probably shouldn't be investing in stocks to begin with.

There are many tools to help you reduce your risk when you invest in stocks. If you take the time to learn how to use the tools available then your fears should be limited. Learn how to use stop-loss orders and trailing stops, and you will relieve many of your common fears.
