Ugh! Am I the only one who thinks it should be illegal for employers to look at your credit report?

I mean there are many reasons why someone could have bad credit such as medical emergencies.

Yes, I agree it is a bad practice that should be made illegal in all 50 states.

Some states have already made it illegal for employers to check your credit report. If your state has not, I would contact your elected officials and make your case.
