Has anyone actually made any money from creating a free blog using blogspot on Google?

Most people who make any serious money do not use blogspot. Blogspot is really meant more for recreational bloggers.

Are their some people who make good money with a blogspot blog sure, but there are a lot more who do not make anything.

The problem for a serious blogger using blogspot is that you really do not own the URL Google does. So if you plan on being a serious blogger it is best to pay for your own web hosting so you will always own your URL outright.
