The Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity Index (DBLCI) was launched in 2003. This makes it a relatively new index. It only tracks 6 commodity contracts and is heavily weighted in energy because it is production weighted.

This index can be invested in using an ETF whose ticker symbol is DBC on the American Stock Exchange.
