CDs vs Money Market Accounts

Money market accounts are much more liquid than CDs. Money markets accounts are like a step up from a basic savings account, but with more restrictions on minimum balances and monthly transactions allowed.

CDs on the other hand keep your money tied up, and if you try to withdraw your money early from a CD you will be charged hefty penalties.
