How Do You Read Bar Charts When Trading Stocks....

So how do you read bar charts when trading stocks?

Bar charts are commonly used by short-term investors. They are very easy to use to get a quick read on a stock.

The bar shows the price range of a stock for a certain period of time. The top of the bar represents the highest price of the day, and the bottom represents the lowest price of the day.

The small tick on the left side of the bar represents the opening price of the stock for the day, and the right tick represent the closing price for the day.

It is considered a good sign when the stock closes above where it opened for the day. If you are looking for even more detail in your stock charts then you will want to look into candlestick charts.
